Santa Monica Studio’s God of War Ragnarok has gone gold en route to its release next month, but the wait is still excruciating. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long for reviews. Jordan Middler of Video Game Chronicle confirmed on Twitter that his review goes live on November 3rd, 9 AM PDT/12 PM EDT.

Next Gen Base and Geoff Keighley confirmed the same date for their reviews. They’ve also revealed that previews for the title will go live on October 21st, 6 AM PDT/9 AM EDT. It remains to be seen how much will be showcased, but new gameplay footage seems like a safe bet.

God of War Ragnarok is out on November 9th for PS4 and PS5. Set several years after God of War (2018), it sees Kratos and Atreus trying to stay out of the battle for Ragnarok. It’s not long before they run afoul of Freya, Thor, new Valkyrie like Hrist and Gna, and much more. For more details, check out our feature here.
