Sony Santa Monica’s God of War: Ragnarok has been officially revealed and tons of new details have been announced since the PlayStation Showcase. This includes the talent playing new characters like Thor and Angrboda, though various other voice actors have since confirmed their inclusion as well. Among there are Erica Lindbeck and Evanne Elizabeth Friedmann who have revealed that they’re playing Hrist and Gna respectively.
These are Valkyries which are new to the series (though interestingly, Gna is a goddess in Old Norse mythology, one who runs errands in worlds throughout the Norse cosmology). But that’s not all. Laura Stahl, Anna Brisbin and Aaron Phillips also confirmed on Twitter that they’re voicing Einherjar, which are deceased warriors brought to Valhalla and preparing to fight for Odin when Ragnarok arrives.
Suffice it to say that Kratos and Atreus have their work cut out for them in the coming battle. God of War: Ragnarok is slated to release next year for PS4 and PS5. Head here for more details from the gameplay reveal.
