Gran Turismo 7

Following a commitment to increase rewards in Gran Turismo 7, Polyphony Digital has released update 1.09. It’s not very big but focuses on fixing several core issues, like one that caused the pitstop sequence to be skipped on Daytona International Speedway if you suddenly swerved into the pits on Tri-Oval and Road Course. An issue that caused stats in the “Sport” category like Clean Races, Fastest Laps and so on from not display correctly has also been fixed.

Perhaps most important is a fix for a rare issue which could reset one’s progress if starting with an unstable network connection. Check out the full patch notes below for more details. Another patch is set to drop in the beginning of April increases rewards in the latter World Circuits events by 100 percent while also buffing rewards in Online Races and adding eight one-hour Endurance Race events to Missions.

Additional updates will go live by April end and include new cars and course layouts along with Online Time Trials. There will also be increased payouts for limited-time rewards and the option to sell cars. Stay tuned for more details on these updates in the coming weeks.
