Gran Turismo 7

Amid the many ups, downs and controversies, support continues for Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo 7. The racing sim will receive a new update later this week, as per a tweet by series producer Kazunori Yamauchi. Three new cars are coming, judging by the attached image.

Based on the silhouettes, one of the cars appears to be the 1983 Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette, a highlight of the 1982/1983 seasons of the Super Silhouette races in Japan. It has the power of a Formula racing car despite appearing as a regular production car. How it will feel in-game remains to be seen but it should offer a unique experience.

Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS4 and PS5. You can check out our official review here. Thus far, the developer has added new cars, Scapes, track layouts, Endurance Race Missions, World Circuit Race Events, and much more in free updates. Stay tuned for more details on the next one later this week.
