Since officially announcing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Rockstar has shown surprisingly little of it, with a bunch of screenshots and the initial trailer being the only material that’s been officially shared for the release (though there have been several gameplay leaks of late). Considering the fact that it’s launching imminently, that has alarmed quite a few people.

Recently, however, Rockstar released graphics comparisons for the remastered trilogy, showcasing briefly how each of the three games has improved over the originals. Character models, environments, lighting, and much more are highlighted in the comparisons, which undoubtedly showcase some impressive visual enhancements. Check it out in the video below, courtesy of IGN.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launches today, in a few hours, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. San Andreas’ remaster will also be available individually via Xbox Game Pass, while the GTA 3 remaster will be added to PlayStation Now in December.
