Gravity Rush 2

SIE Japan Studio’s Gravity Rush 2 is finally gone gold as per director Keiichiro Toyama on Twitter. The action adventure title was slated to release next month on PS4 but was delayed into 2017. Principle development is now finished and manufacturing of discs and distribution can finally begin.

With the delay, Toyama and his team had more time to polish up the game. The distinct visual style looks pretty good and it’ll be interesting to see how it affects the game’s core appeal. Regardless, Gravity Rush 2 will start off 2017 with a bang.

Gravity Rush 2 is a direct sequel to the first game and takes place in an “ethnic” kind of town. Kat will return and she’s bringing her friend Raven along for the same gravity-defying shenanigans.

Look forward to the game releasing on January 18th 2017 in Europe, January 19th in Japan and January 20th in North America while letting us know what you think of it in the comments.
