After the disaster that was Tomb Raider the Angel of Darkness, a different developer took on a different approach to Lara Croft and for what it was worth the game was a great success. Everything about the game was great and offered no pretense. Tomb Raider Legend was the game that reinvigorated the franchise. The graphics were mind-blowing for its time, being one the first titles to really show Lara in a different light. For the first time in the franchise, the controls were fluid and awesome. The game is a joy to play, the sound is top-notch, the voice-acting is pretty good, the story is surprisingly good too.
