Early access for Klei Entertainment’s Griftlands is now available for Steam and Epic Games Store on PC. The deck-building roguelite RPG launched in alpha for the latter last year but this will be the first time that Steam players can get their hands on the game. Check out the cinematic announcement trailer below.

Set in the sci-fi world of Havaria, Griftlands is all about negotiating and fighting your way through various jobs. You’ll use cards to achieve this and collect more throughout multiple runs. Two playable characters, Sal and Rook, are available, each with their own unique environment and factions to deal with.

Griftlands takes cues from Slay the Spire but offers a nice RPG twist with NPCs that have their own motivations and views of you. It’s currently planned to be in early access for six months to a year, during which a third playable character, more cards, varied quest objectives and more will be added. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
