GTA Online Freemode Events

Grand Theft Auto Online has been updated to now offer Freemode Events on PS4 and Xbox One. Current gen console fans simply have to download a new update (which weighs 700 MB on the Xbox One) and they’ll be able to access the same.

Freemode Events are essentially live events which any player in Free Mode can take part in. They occur every 12 minutes and feature interesting objectives like Hunt the Beast and conventional deathmatch.

That’s not all though – the Rockstar Editor has also arrived on Xbox One and PS4 with an update on PC providing even more options for players (including the ability to include Snapmatic images).

Even though there won’t be any new Heists or single-player DLC for the foreseeable future, Rockstar has remained committed to supporting GTA Online on current gen consoles. What are your thoughts on the Freemode Events? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
