Rockstar Games is still busy trying to patch up Grand Theft Auto Online’s many issues. One of those includes a user reporting that cash and Reputation Points aren’t being saved properly, with progress between sessions also not being saved. If you’ve been having this problem even after installing update 1.04, then rest assured that Rockstar is looking into it.

“We have received some reports about cash and RP not saving in GTA Online since around 5PM ET on 10/18/13, and are investigating this now.” It later updated the same around 9.30 PM ET, on the same day to reveal that, “Stat processing is currently delayed. These should catch up later tonight or – at latest – early tomorrow morning.”

On October 19th, 6:30 PM ET, Rockstar revealed, “Service was restored in the early morning hours. We are still looking into some reports about some players’ progress not catching up, and also reports about additional lost progress or problems connecting to Rockstar cloud servers today. Please stay tuned here for more updates.”

Grand Theft Auto Online launched on October 1st and almost immediately ran into a wave of problems including inability to progress past the first mission, general bugs and much more. Rockstar has since released a new game update to combat any errors.
