The award-winning action platformer Guacamelee! is now available on the PlayStation Network for PS3 and PS Vita from DrinkBox Studois. As part of the “Pub Fund” initiative, the game will be available for $14.99. Of course, it will feature cross-buy support, meaning that only a single purchase is necessary to play it on either platofrm.

As part of Sony’s Spring Fever promotion, PlayStation Plus members can receive a 20 percent discount off when purchasing the game. Lucky them.

Graham Smith, co-Founder of DrinkBox Studios, stated that, “As an independent studio we’re lucky enough to be able to take risks and get creative with our game design.

“With Guacamelee!, we wanted to blur the boundaries between combat and platforming, all while giving players a vibrant setting inspired by traditional Mexican culture and folklore. We’re really excited with the way the game turned out and thrilled with the response we have had so far from our fans and the gaming press.”

Playing as Juan Aguacate, a former luchador turned hero who must rescue “El Presidente’s daughter” from the evil Carlos Calaca.
