Guild Wars 2: Unravel a Mystery of Monstrous Proportions in “The Lost Shores”

ArenaNet promises to change Tyria forever in this next event.

ArenaNet might’ve soured gamers after the Shadow of the Mad King event, held as an occurrence for Halloween, for Guild Wars 2 was interrupted due to Hurricane Sandy, and gamers didn’t receive the extension they asked for. First world problems, we know.

However, the lack of an extension was just to make sure that their next event – a “one time occurrence” dubbed The Lost Shores – started on time. And ArenaNet is promising that the world of Guild Wars 2 won’t be the same after this event, which takes place in the Sea of Sorrows area.

Other than that, there’s not a lot of information available. The Lost Shores event will take place on November 15th and players can expect a content update before it’s release.

What kind of cataclysms await? Will a burning crusade make it’s way through? Perhaps a king of liches waiting to be faced? Or a panda-filled mist? Hopefully none of those things, for one of the most successful MMOs currently available.
