Pacific Rim and Crimson Peak director Guillermo del Toro has been fairly vocal about his dislike for Konami. The man was brought on to work with Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima for Silent Hills, which was subsequently cancelled when the publisher and Kojima parted ways.

Del Toro took to Twitter before to say, simply put, “F**k Konami”. To celebrate the holidays, he decided to give it another go, in case they didn’t get the message the first time.

“Important Holiday messages that right true today as they always have: Feliz Navidad. Happy Holidays. F**k Konami.”

Del Toro later clarified that he meant “ring” true and not “right” true before noting, “still, F**k ’em.”

Last we spotted del Toro was in The Game Awards trailer for Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding which saw Mads Mikkelsen of Hannibal fame debuting as the antagonist. What are your thoughts on del Toro’s continued disdain for the Metal Gear publisher? Let us know in the comments.
