Guilty Gear 2020

Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Strive ended on a cliffhanger in the last trailer as we saw the return of the bizarre Faust. At Frosty Faustings XII, the developer offered a better look at Faust’s moveset. Long story short, he’s more terrifying but also not shy to bestow an Afro upon his foe. Check out the trailer below.

Some of Faust’s other moves include ingesting his opponent and spitting them out through a wormhole (it’s as weird as it sounds) and “fishing” with his giant scalpel. More trailers will be released at Brussels Challenge 2020 and Final Round 2020 which take place from March 20th to 22nd. It’s unclear if more characters will be revealed.

Current plans for Guilty Gear Strive include a closed beta test for this Spring (EVO 2020 Japan attendees get to try it first). More details on how to participate will likely be revealed in March. Stay tuned in the meantime for more details. Guilty Gear Strive is slated to release for PS4 in late 2020.
