Back in December, Arc System Works announced that the pink-haired one-handed female samurai Baiken will be joining the roster of Guilty Gear Strive in January 2022 as a DLC character. Since then, not much has been said about how the character looks in-game. Well, it seems some screenshots for Baiken recently got leaked online, giving a glimpse of the upcoming character to players.

In a Reddit post on the Guilty Gear subreddit, user u/Degurechaff223 seemingly found some pictures of Baiken in the game, and judging by the screenshots, it looks pretty believable (thanks to the Twitter user @panarin_misha, you can check a few of the images out down below). The screenshots confirm the return of the signature Baiken move from the series, Tatami Gaeshi, along with a shot where Baiken uses a lantern to hook onto Happy Chaos, another character from the game. Even a still shot of Baiken’s super is shown in the leaked pictures.

Recently, the Californian bakery store Honey & Butter leaked what looks like an official render of the upcoming character from the game. Judging by the frequency of these leaks, and given that the character was originally announced to be releasing this month, it shouldn’t be long before we get an official trailer from Arc System Works for the character.
