Guilty Gear Strive – Baiken Confirmed as Next DLC Character, Out in Late January 2022

The fan favorite character who last appeared in Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 is the fourth character to be added with Season Pass 1.

It’s only been a week or so since Happy Chaos was made available to Season Pass 1 holders of Guilty Gear Strive. However, Arc System Works has already revealed the next DLC character and it’s fan favorite Baiken. The wandering samurai arrives in late January 2022 – check out her first teaser trailer below.

Introduced in the first Guilty Gear (but not as a playable character), Baiken wields a katana that can seemingly cut anything. Despite the loss of her right arm and left eye, she’s still capable of using a variety of weapons like a cannon, mace, claw, hook and much more, in addition to tatami mats that launch opponents. How she’ll play in Guilty Gear Strive remains to be seen but thus far, she looks good.

Guilty Gear Strive is available for PS4, PS5 and PC – you can check out our official review here for more details. Baiken is the fourth character in Season Pass 1 with one more to be added in the coming months.
