Guilty Gear Strive - Happy Chaos

Happy Chaos is the next fighter to adorn the Guilty Gear Strive roster, arriving tomorrow for Season Pass 1 owners (December 3rd for others). In a new Starter Guide video, Arc System Works outlines his different moves and abilities along with some interesting combos. Check it out below.

Happy Chaos is armed with a gun and somewhat akin to Elphelt Valentine from Guilty Gear Xrd, he can brandish it to unleash projectile attacks. “At the Ready” readies the firearm (with the motion serving as a short-range hit) and fires based on the number of bullets and Concentration Meter available. While unable to block in this state, Chaos can still move and unleash various other attacks.

“Steady Aim” is a more powerful version which deals additional damage per shot with the caveat of being unable to block, move or use most special moves. There are also moves for reloading ammo and recovering Concentration along with “Scapegoat” which creates a body double while the real deal retreats backwards. All in all, it should be interesting to see what creative players can come up with using his abilities.

Guilty Gear Strive is available for PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our review for it here.
