Guilty Gear Strive

Guilty Gear Strive will be receiving its final Season Pass 1 character, Testament, on March 28th (March 31st for individual purchase). While the “Another Story” arrives in late April and concludes this pass, it won’t mark the end of support. Arc System Works has confirmed Season Pass 2 which will add four new characters.

In addition to this, cross-platform play between PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam is also coming. Updates are in the works for stabilizing online multiplayer and reducing the time needed to connect to the server. None of these have firm dates though so we’ll need to wait for more details in the coming months.

Guilty Gear Strive also gets a new stage, “White House Reborn”, on March 28th as part of Season Pass 1 but all players receive access to the Digital Figure mode for free. It includes tools for creating custom scenes with the ability to freely move characters, generate effects and place furniture. Different expressions, camera angles and filters can also be used. The scenes can be shared online with other players so expect some fun stuff in the future.
