Guilty Gear Strive - Goldlewis

A new starter guide is available for Guilty Gear Strive, this time focusing on the first DLC character Goldlewis Dickinson. As a heavy hitter, Goldlewis is capable of wielding his massive coffin as a weapon and even pulling out a gatling gun to attack from a distance. Check out how he plays in the video below.

Some of his moves are fairly interesting like Behemoth Typhoon which is essentially a coffin swing that changes depending on the half-circle input. So forward half-circle will provide a more long range attack while back half-circle offers a faster start-up. There’s also the Security Level, a special meter that fills up as time passes and allows certain special moves to become more powerful when it’s high enough.

Using said special move will reset the Security Level to normal. The meter also affects one of Goldlewis’s Super moves, Burn it Down, which sees him calling down an orbital laser on a target. Goldlewis will be coming to Guilty Gear Strive on July 27th for Season Pass 1 holders and July 30th for everyone else.
