After winding up its technical test for Hades 2 last week, Supergiant Games has confirmed that early access is now live for PC via Steam and the. It even released a snazzy new trailer to showcase all the content players can expect. Check it out below.
Hades 2 is about Melinoë, the Princess of the Underworld, who seeks to slay the Titan, Kronos. Trained as a witch and wielding new melee weapons and spells, she’s assisted by the Greek Pantheon. Old friends such as Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Aphrodite and Artemis return, while newcomers like Apollo and Hestia lend a hand.
Supergiant Games confirmed that early access would last “at least through the end of 2024.” It doesn’t currently have a “specific end date” at this time. Nevertheless, the full version will include a “more complete, more polished set of features and content” compared to the current early access version. It will also have Steam Achievements and the true ending. Stay tuned for more details on updates shortly.
