Half Life 3 Fan-Made CG Trailer Looks Downright Amazing

A free man never changes.

Valve Software may dilly dally in delivering Half Life 3 to us and for better or worse, this means fans have taken matters into their own hands to present their vision of what the game could be like. Deviant Pictures Films developed it’s own CG trailer for a theoretical Half Life 3 and it features everything from the Hunters to the G-Man and Mr. Freeman himself. Check it out above.

The ice setting is representative of initial concept art that showcased Half Life 3 taking place in the Arctic and hunting a ship called the Borealis that mysteriously reappeared after a long time. That’s only the tip of the iceberg though (literally and figuratively) and for almost a decade now, Valve have been unable to provide any information as to what direction the game could go in.

Nonetheless, we’ll keep dreaming – and hopefully seeing more amazing fan trailers like this. Stay tuned for more news in the coming months.
