Warzone Firefight has had its fair share of complaints regarding difficulty but lo and behold, Halo 5: Guardians is doing extremely well with its play numbers. 343 Industries community manager Bravo noted on Reddit that the shooter has seen its most monthly active players for a Halo title since Halo 3.
That’s a pretty big deal…and it happened before the game’s free promotion that lasted a week. The player base has actually grown in recent months with June’s player numbers being higher than May. Though specific numbers weren’t mentioned, Bravo did note that players would be “pleasantly surprised” about the number that joined during the free period.
Again, actual figures were not shared since that would require “approval from the powers that be.” Nevertheless, things are going well. “You should rest assured that together, we’re quite a strong army.”
