Halo Infinite Campaign Gameplay Showcases “The Conservatory” Mission, New Weapons

Watch Master Chief and his new AI, The Weapon, fight off various foes, including the new Skimmers. The campaign launches on December 8th.

While 343 Industries looks to address progression issues with Halo Infinite’s multiplayer beta, it’s also polishing the campaign en route to its release next month. In the meantime, IGN has some new gameplay footage showcasing “The Conservatory” mission. This takes place a few hours into the campaign and offers a look at several weapons new to the franchise. Check it out below.

Some of these new weapons include the Shock Rifle (with Electric weapons being a new type that deal more damage to shields); the Heatwave which fires a vertical or horizontal spread of ammo; and the Cindershot which lobs bouncing explosive projectiles. We also see the new Skimmers in action. These are foes that slightly hover above ground and be somewhat annoying in flocks.

Halo Infinite’s campaign launches on December 8th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. It will also launch day one on Xbox Game Pass. Stay tuned for more details en route to its release.
