Halo Infinite’s campaign is out today after more than a year long delay, finally bringing the next chapter of Master Chief’s journey to fans. It’s not without some issues, especially when it comes to the visuals, but 343 Industries has also warned against using Quick Resume on Xbox Series X/S. Essentially, when playing the campaign, you’ll find various armor lockers that unlock cosmetics for multiplayer.
However, as community director Brian Jarrard said on Twitter, “If you are offline, or disconnected from services – which can occur after Quick Resume – the cosmetics won’t show up in your MP inventory.” Thankfully, this doesn’t mean you’ve lost your chance to earn them forever. Jarrard followed up by stating that, “The team is aware and we will eventually have a retroactive fix (you will get the cosmetics you’ve earned).”
In the meantime, he warns against being offline when exploring Zeta Halo or continuing a Quick Resume session. 343 Industries is also working on a fix to allow players to replay campaign missions but currently has no ETA on the same. So stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
Halo Infinite is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC along with being playable through Xbox Game Pass.

The team is aware and we will eventually have a retroactive fix (you will get the cosmetics youve earned). For now, I recommend not continuing a Quick Resume session and making sure you’re online before venturing into Zeta Halo. Thank you! (2/2)
