Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is free-to-play, so anyone can jump in and enjoy what it has to offer. As Microsoft often does, however, it will be offering special perks to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers where the upcoming highly-anticipated shooter is concerned.

In an Xbox Wire update detailing the lineup of games that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass during December, Microsoft confirmed that every month, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get free boosts in Halo Infinite’s multiplayer component.

“It’s an awesome time for Perks because we’re excited to reveal that Ultimate members will be locked in to get monthly Halo Infinite Multiplayer bonuses, starting with the first bundle on December 8,” Microsoft wrote. “Don’t forget to claim this and more in the Perks gallery on your Xbox console, Xbox App on Windows PCs, and the Xbox Game Pass mobile app.”

So what exactly are these perks? Well, the first of these will arrive on the day of the game’s full launch, and it will bring some nifty bonuses- four double XP boosts, four Challenge swaps for the Battle Pass, as well as an exclusive ‘Pass Tense’ coating for the Assault Rifle.

Where the multiplayer is concerned, 343 Industries is already taking steps to address the issues that have started cropping up, from committing to dealing with cheaters to implementing changes to the Battle Pass’ progression.

Meanwhile, Halo Infinite’s full list of Achievements also recently went live, confirming that the single player campaign will have a total of 14 main missions. Read more on that through here.

Halo Infinite launches for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on December 8.
