In a new Halo Waypoint post, several different changes were outlined, including the implementation of new systems for quitting and penalties. It will also address ranking, improving community items and more. As of now, this update is “nearing completion” and patch notes will be on the way soon.

Another update, which is out later this week, will aim to change up the playlists for the various games based on feedback from various sources like Reddit and Twitter. Playlists expected to be addressed include Team Action Sack, Infection, Halo 2 Classic, Team Snipers, Team Doubles, Team Hardcore and much more. Not only will there map rotation be changed but some maps and game types will be removed, some more will be added, max party size will be increased in some playlists, etc.
