Hardspace Shipbreaker

Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak developer Blackbird Interactive may be busy with Homeworld 3 but it’s announced a brand new title in development. It’s called Hardspace: Shipbreaker and will release in Steam Early Access for PC this Summer. Published by Focus Home Interactive, the title is a sandbox space sim where players salvage ships.

It’s not as easy as it sounds though. You’ll receive a number of different tools, cut your away into these ships and locate any valuable items or components to salvage. Upgrading to different tools and suits will allow for salvaging more valuable ships and hopefully lead to paying off that debt of 999,999,999 Credits faster.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker will be revealed in a Twitch stream tomorrow at 8 AM PT and will also be present PAX East 2020. You can also check out the trailer below for a quick look at the gameplay and story. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay footage in the coming days.
