Hawken: New PC Screenshots Show Off Technical Class

Learn the ropes with this new repair class.

Adhesive Games’ mech simulation Hawken is still going strong, despite the annoying April Fool’s Day prank that nearly guaranteed we’d bury the game for good (we kid. Maybe). Now new screenshots have come out for the game’s Technical Class, which judging by the way it follows mechs and “sparks” them, would probably be a repair unit.

For more detailed information on how to properly wreck havoc with this class – and take full advantage of its abilities – head on over to the developer’s site where designer Chris Vance offers tips and tricks necessary for survival.

Published by Meteor Entertainment, Hawken is a free to play first person shooter at its core, but one that has you piloting giant mechs. It features more action than your typical MechWarrior, and entered into open beta on December 12th 2012. Developed using Unreal Engine 3, Hawken features three mech types – namely the light type, heavy type, and all-around type – along with four multiplayer modes when it releases.
