It Takes Two and A Way Out developer Hazelight Studios is confirmed to appear at The Game Awards 2024 on December 12th to present its newest title. Check out the video tweet below with founder Josef Fares touring the studio and effectively teasing different aspects of the title.

These include mentioning a “big boss” that will make fans “go nuts” and showcasing two actresses performing motion capture – Kaja Chan and Elsie Bennett. The two play Mio and Zoe, based on Fares’s own daughters. Whether these are the confirmed characters in the upcoming title remains to be seen.

The tour ends with Fares answering a call from host Geoff Keighley and promising some gameplay at The Game Awards. Based on rumors thus far, the studio’s next co-op title is Split Fiction. It’s allegedly launching on March 8th, 2025, for consoles and PC, and based on the controller seen in the video, Xbox Series X/S is seemingly confirmed. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
