The new Premium Warbond for Arrowhead’s Helldivers 2 arrives on February 6th with Servants of Freedom. Themed around “fanatical loyalty,” it adds new weapons, armor sets and a heavy helping of explosive firepower. Check out the first trailer below.
The most notable new addition is the B-100 Portable Hellbomb, similar to those used when destroying specific buildings. Upon dropping and arming it, you have ten seconds to clear out. As for primary weapons, the LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle is a souped-up version of the original, causing self-damage as you fire continuously.
Those who prefer explosive sidearms will enjoy the GP-20 Ultimatum, and though it’s for close encounters, you can still die if shot at point-blank range. There’s also the G-50 Seeker drone, which self-destructs on detecting enemies, and the IE-3 Martyr and IE-12 Righteous armor sets. As Medium armor, they include the Integrated Explosives passive, where you’ll explode upon death.
