After catering to stealthy commandos and the more Rambo-style spray and pray types, Helldivers 2 is offering players the opportunity to tear it all down. The Siege Breakers Premium Warbond goes live on February 3rd, and as the name implies, it’s about smashing things, regardless of their size.
First up is the new LAS-16 Trident. While the Sickle is more of an assault rifle, this new variant functions like a shotgun, firing six beams at once. Of course, you can’t breach without an appropriately sized hammer, so cue the new Stratagem – the CQC-20 Breaching Hammer. The best part is that its face can carry an explosive for even more bang for your buck.
If that’s not enough, don’t worry – the GL-28 Belt-Fed Grenade Launcher has you covered. There’s also the EAT-411 Leveller for those who prefer a singular explosive payload.
While all these offensive options are nice, the G/SH-39 Shield offers a defensive option. Throw it down to block projectiles and essentially hold the line as your teammates continue to advance. Of course, all this is in addition to two new armor sets: the SA-8 Ram (Heavy) and SA-7 (Medium). Both offer the Supplementary Adrenaline passive, where taking damage restores stamina.
That’s on top of new capes, player cards, and a fresh pattern for the Exosuits, Hellpods, and more. For more details on the latest update for Helldivers 2, which added more stealth-focused missions, head here.
