Helldivers 2’s next Premium (i.e. paid) Warbond is arriving on April 11, Sony and developer Arrowhead Game Studios have announced, bringing another batch of new weapons, armour, and cosmetics for players to unlock.

Titled Democratic Detonation, the Warbond’s central theme is explosive weapons (the last one having been all about electrocution). Three new primary weapons will be added in the form of the BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle, which is an armour-penetrating assault rifle; the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow, which fires exploding bolts; and the R-36 Eruptor Rifle, which fires jet-propelled rounds that shower shrapnel in all directions upon impact- including your own, so watch out when you’re using it.

The Warbond will also bring new secondary weapons with the stick and superhot G-123 Thermite Grenade and the GP-31 Grenade Pistol, which does exactly what its name suggests. Other unlockables include the Expert Extraction Pilot Booster (which lowers the time it takes for an extraction shuttle to land), three new armour sets (one each of Light, Medium, and Heavy), three new capes, and new emotes.

Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of the Warbond’s new additions.

Recently, Helldivers 2 also added massive new Automaton enemies for players to contend with, while a recent patch increased its level cap to 150, in addition to adding sandstorms and blizzards as planetary hazards. Prior to that, a handful of new Strategems were also added.

Helldivers 2 is available on PS5 and PC.
