Dragon Age: Inquisition

Dragon Age: Inquisition is the third entry in Bioware’s Dragon Age saga, the original fantasy epic RPG series that they launched with Dragon Age: Origins back in 2009 to have an original property that would keep them in touch with their old school hardcore RPG roots.

That… did not turn out well. Dragon Age: Origins was amazing, but the sequel, Dragon Age II, tried to focus too much on streamlining and action at the expense of the actual roleplaying, and it arguably started the slide and loss of favor that put Bioware where it stands with respect to its fans today.

Dragon Age: Inquisition, which looks like a return to form for the series, promises to change all of that. It’s due out on October 4 on PC, PS4, PS3. Xbox One, and Xbox 360, and it looks like it will be the best made Bioware game in years. Ahead of E3 next week, Bioware’s been kind enough to give us a full gallery of new screenshots to drool over. So… have at it.
