To perform powerful special attacks in Hi-Fi Rush, you’ll need upgrades to your Reverb Gauge. While you can buy three gauges from Peppermint, you can also find more scattered throughout the game. By collecting four pieces, you can increase your Reverb Gauge by one level. Here’s a list of locations where you can find Reverb Cores:
Track 1: A Fresh Start
Reverb Core Piece #1
- After completing the first battle with the Special Attack, head up over the crane and enter the door.
- Proceed to the right by riding the conveyor belt.
- Search for the Reverb Core Piece situated in the corner.
- The piece is lodged between a create and the wall, so look closely to find it.
Track 2: Power up
Reverb Core Piece #2
- Following your initial fight, you will encounter a robot carrying a stack of boxes.
- Climb the boxes located on your right and continue upwards.
- Do not take the vent on the wall, as it will progress the main story.
- Instead, head towards the right and keep climbing to reach the top of the room.
- The Electric Reverb Core can be found on the yellow catwalk positioned behind a metal box with a purple light.
Reverb Core Piece #3
- After completing the third fight, avoid entering the doors and instead head up the ramp to the right.
- Locate the crates on your left and destroy them.
- The Electric Reverb Core can be found behind the crates
Track 3: Trial By (Volcanic Fire)
Reverb Core Piece #4
- Climb the stairs once you reach Lab 44 and move straight ahead.
- You’ll see the Electric Reverb Core Piece on your right.
Reverb Core Piece #11
- Complete the game to unlock this Reverb Core piece.
- Access the post-game screen and select the appropriate chapter.
- Once you have met the wheeled robots, proceed to the next open area with two workers.
- Utilize Macaron’s ability to smash through the wall in this area.
- The Electric Reverb Core will be located directly behind the wall you destroyed.
Track 4: Less Budget, More Problems
Reverb Core Piece #12
- Complete the game to unlock this Reverb Core piece.
- Access the post-game screen and select the appropriate chapter.
- Complete the SPECTRA mission and enter the AR area.
- Ascend the stairs and utilize Korsica on the nearby machine.
- Climb to the top and complete the challenge using only the dodge counter to score kills.
- You must maintain a perfect core throughout the mission in order to win.
- If you meet the requirements, you will be rewarded with the Electric Reverb Core upon completion.
Track 5: Breaking Out
Reverb Core Piece #5
- In the entrance area to security node 2, take the elevator to the lower floor.
- Now go left and then go up.
- You’ll see the Electric Reverb Core after jumping a few levels towards the top.
Reverb Core Piece #6
- Look for Route 1, located directly above where you first entered the room
- Use Macron to smash the door
- Enter the room
- Obtain the Electric Reverb Core
Track 7: The Climb
Reverb Core Piece #7
- Use the jump pad to go up after the end of the 2D scene.
- Move forward in the corridor and go upwards to the right.
- Jump over to the other wall and then jump towards the top.
- Look for the Electric Reverb Core near the vending machine.
Track 8: A History Lesson
Reverb Core Piece #8
- After defeating the fire enemy in the plaza, head towards the left side of the area.
- Follow the path until you reach the corner of the garden area.
- Look for the Electric Reverb Core located beside the tree.
Reverb Core Piece #9
- After completing the electric floors section, go past the gap with the pendulums and turn right.
- Follow the corridor all the way to the end, crossing the electric floor.
- Look for the Electric Reverb Core at the end of the corridor.
Track 10: A Masterplan
Reverb Core Piece #10
- After using the rail transit system and knocking the head off the statue, turn around.
- Drop down to the grassy area below.
- Look for some green crates and you’ll find the Electric Reverb Core in front of them.
