The Summer Game Fest Showcase goes live next week, marking the start of a month-long series of gaming announcements and events. While producer and host Geoff Keighley hasn’t yet begun confirming titles that will appear, he has confirmed that Hideo Kojima will be present live on stage.

Kojima’s next title is Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, for which he promised a final trailer would go live a week or two before launch. Since this is much earlier, it makes us wonder if this is related. It’s also possible that he could reveal new details on OD, the Xbox Game Studios-published title, though time will tell.

Summer Game Fest airs at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET on June 6th, followed by the Future Games Show Summer Showcase at 1 PM PT on June 7th. The Xbox Games Showcase and The Outer Worlds 2 Direct is scheduled for June 8th at 10 AM PT. The PC Gaming Show is also scheduled for June 8th at noon PDT and promises over 70 games.

Stay tuned for details on other showcases, like a new Ubisoft Forward or Nintendo Direct, in the meantime.
