Hitman 3

Like Hitman 2 before it, Hitman 3 will be bringing together the entire World of Assassination trilogy into one single package, and in the process, it’ll also add several enhancements (visually, and in terms of quality of life improvements) to levels from the previous two games. In doing so, it’ll also add more Mastery Levels to a couple of levels from Hitman 2.

For those who aren’t aware, Hitman awards Mastery Levels to players based on their performances in missions, including completion of certain set challenges. Usually, locations in Hitman have Mastery Level caps of 20, but the suburbs of Whittleton Creek and the bank in New York in Hitman 2, which are relatively smaller in scale, capped out at 15. According to the list of Trophies for Hitman 3, however, that cap is going to be increased to the regular 20. Does that mean there will be new challenges added to the two locations? Hopefully.

Hitman 3 launches on January 20 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, and on Nintendo Switch as a cloud-exclusive release. The game will, of course, brings its own set of new locations for players to head to as well, and IO Interactive recently revealed the full list of those locations. Check it out through here.

On PlayStation, the game will also be entirely playable in VR (including all the levels from the previous two games). Check out some VR gameplay footage through here.
