Hitman 3 will be releasing in a little over a month, and when it does, it will bring IO Interactive’s current World of Assassination trilogy to a close. Ahead of that launch, the developer has been sharing new updates for the game at a pretty regular clip, and they have now shared its opening cinematic (courtesy of IGN).

The cinematic sees Agent 47 heading to Dubai and getting ready to jump into action against Providence. The trailer ends with 47 jumping off of a plane and heading to the city, which is one of the three locations that have been revealed for the game so far.

Hitman 3 launches for January 21 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. On Xbox Series X/S and PS5, the game will run in 4K at 60 frames per second, while on PS5, the game will also feature support for DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Meanwhile, if you’ll be playing the game on PC, be sure to check out its system requirements through here. IO Interactive have also confirmed that ray-tracing support will be added to the game’s PC version later in 2021.
