In between clearing up controversies related to the cancellation of its next-gen Hitman title, with publisher Square Enix clarifying that it would not be cancelling the series and that there’s confusion over who is developing the next game, IO Interactive has announced that each platform for Hitman: Absolution will be receiving a new Contact.

PlayStation 3 users will take part in a contact involving a pyromaniac ice vendor – which is as odd as it sounds – while PC users will be heading to a haunted house. Xbox 360 users will be killing indiscriminately in a doughnut shop – which has to be a rib on someone.

Hitman: Absolution’s Contacts mode takes advantage of user-made missions to extend its play-life. It’s fairly popular, even with the game having released back in 2012. Will you be partaking in these new Contact missions? Let us know in the comments below, especially as to which platform appeals the most to you.
