Those players who were anxious to get their hands on the Hitman open beta for the PS4 have been rewarded for their patience as it has now gone live in both North America and Europe. This is a special treat for PS Plus members as they will get to download and play the beta for free from Friday, March 4 until Monday, March 7. This beta, which allows you to play through the prologue is the same beta those who preordered the game got to play in February.
This Hitman beta was announced as coming a couple of weeks back and is geared towards giving players at least a peek at what they can expect if they were to actually order the game. You aren’t going to be able to get yourself into a ton of trouble as Agent 47. The Prologue features two free-form training segments. Both of the segments are part of the first episode of Hitman. The game is now just a week away from hitting store shelves.
IO Interactive has had a bit of a whirlwind release season as they have changed the way they are rolling the game out a number of times. Now we’ll just have to see if the way the company decided to do this is actually the best way to go about it. Hitman launches on the PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 11. Check out the video below of the “season premiere.”
