Hitman’s second episode, which currently just has a release slated for sometime next month, will be getting a final release date announcement some time next week, IO Interactive announced today. This means the announcement of the release date will come right after the release of two new Escalation Contracts.

It’s not all good news, however- unfortunately, the much vaunted Elusive Targets, which are special, extremely difficult one off targets that spawn in player’ games, and give them one shot to take them out before disappearing forever, have been delayed. They have now been delayed to next month, and IO says will launch some time closer to the release of the second episode.

Hitman is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is currently being released in an episodic format with constant content and feature updates; a retail package that consolidates all the episodes and updates to the game is set to release some time next year.
