IO Interactive’s upcoming Hitman title, which will start as a digital release and incorporate content like events and contracts throughout the year, will be launching with seven missions.

According to a listing on Amazon for the physical copy of the game (which is out next year), Hitman will have an “Expanding World of Assassination: Travel around the globe in the seven all new missions in Season One.”

It’s interesting to note this because IO Interactive has made quite a big deal out of the game’s digital plans, including offering all upcoming new content for free. Obviously there’s a concern that players won’t get much at launch for $60 though.

More information is expected on the game’s day one content, which could end up offering much more than just these seven missions, so don’t panic just yet. Hitman will be available for digital download on December 8th for Xbox One, PC and PS4.
