Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy, the upcoming action RPG from Avalanche Software and Portkey Games, has plenty of momentum going into its release next month. To further hype it up, a new cinematic trailer is available. Check it out below.

Starting from the Owlery, the trailer follows a single owl as they travel through Hogwarts, the Forbidden Forest, a camp of Dark Wizards, a dragon, and even a snowstorm to deliver a message. It’s received by the player character and marks the start of their journey to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Of course, they’re no ordinary student – the protagonist can access ancient magic and possesses a secret that could change the Wizarding world.

Players can customize their character’s appearance before starting and even select their House (each with a unique common room). For more details on the various spells and locations, you can check out the recent artbook leak here, though beware of potential spoilers.

Hogwarts Legacy launches on February 10th for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5, while the Xbox One and PS4 versions release on April 4th. The Nintendo Switch version is out on July 25th.
