If a release date for Genshin Impact’s next update isn’t enough, miHoYo has also announced a date for Honkai: Star Rail’s next Special Program. It will focus on Version 1.6, “Crown of the Mundane and Divine”, and air on December 15th at 3:30 AM PST.
As for what the update could include, Ruan Mei (who will also appear as a guest on the stream) and Dr. Ratio will likely be the next playable characters. Mei is known to most players as a Member of the Genius Society, specializing in biological sciences and working with Herta to create the Simulated Universe. She’s a five-star Harmony character who deals Ice damage.
As for Dr. Ratio, he’s also a five-star character, specializing in Imaginary damage and following The Hunt. He’s part of the Intelligentsia Guild member, sponsored by the IPC, and considers himself a “Mundanite” (which further explains the update’s name). We’ll have to wait for more details on both characters’ abilities, so stay tuned for the livestream later this week.
