miHoYo Games has announced a Special Program for Honkai: Star Rail’s next big update, Version 2.0 “If One Dreams At Midnight.” It will air on January 26th at 3.30 AM PST and showcase the upcoming content.
Unlike previous updates, this looks to be on a much larger scale, likely introducing Penacony as a new world. The developer has teased it with an animated cartoon, while characters in-game talk about venturing to the location to attend a feast held by The Family.
Other characters confirmed to attend the feast include Acheron, the Galaxy Ranger; Sparkle, a member of the Masked Fools; Aventurine of the Interastral Peace Corporation; and Sam, a Stellaron Hunter. There’s also the recently teased Annihilation Gang, who claim to serve Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction, and who knows what role they could play. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
