Honkai: Star Rail’s next major yearly update – Version 3.0, “Paean of Era Nova” – goes live on January 15th. The Astral Express ventures to the Greek-inspired Amphoreus plunged into eternal night during the ongoing conflict between its Titans. Check out the theme “Nameless Faces” sung by Lilas Ikuta of Yoasobi fame below.
The story of Amphoreus will span eight updates and see the Trailblazer and Dan Heng arrive first in the Abyss of Fate. They eventually learn more about the Titans that created the world and meet with Oronyx (who specializes in Time). Players will unlock the new Path of Remembrance and gain a new ally, Mem, who can fight alongside them in battle.
Other new locations await, but there will also be new limited-time characters to unlock. These include The Herta, the true appearance of the Genius Society member, who is an Ice Erudition character. Next is Aglaea, a Chrysos Heir on the Flame-Chase Journey that follows the Path of Remembrance. She can summon her own ally, the Garmentmaker, to execute duel attacks for massive damage.
