DON’T WANT: NEEDLESSLY LARGE MAP
Especially in today’s day and age, all too often we see open world games falling into the trap of “bigger is better”. Bloat is a problem that has dragged down even the best of open world games in recent years, and can dilute the quality of everything from world design to pacing to optional content. Forbidden West needs to make sure it avoids that pitfall. Zero Dawn did an excellent job of delivering a world that felt massive without ever feeling too massive, so we’re hoping Guerrilla Games will keep walking down that road.
