Hunter The Reckoning Deathwish

RoboCop and Terminator: Resistance developer Teyon’s next game is something decidedly different. It’s a new Hunter: The Reckoning focusing on hunting vampires in New York. As action-packed as that sounds, it’s also a game of choices, starting with how your hunter will look. A new trailer outlines what you should know about character creation, and it’s surprisingly robust.

Several presets are available, and you can customize them, adjusting everything from Body Build and Lower Body to Hairstyle, Makeup, and even Arm Tattoos. A variety of clothing is available, so whether it’s something casual or more formal, it’s all here.

There’s more, including a selection of Archetypes that determine which core skills you’ll excel at and your primary and secondary attribute (though a Custom option is also available). You can put points into Charisma, Dexterity, Intelligence, and more, and further improve their corresponding Skills, like Melee, Intimidation, Persuasion, etc. All of that plays into skill checks and the outcome of certain situations.

Like The Outer Worlds, you can equip Advantages and Flaws to modify specific Skills or benefits like a 15 percent critical hit chance.

Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC in Q3 2027. Head here to learn more about the various “pillars” of hunting.
