Immortals of Aveum

San Diego Comic-Con is starting this week, and several major titles, like Ascendant Studios’ Immortals of Aveum, will be present. The development will have a panel at 12:45 PM PT on July 21st. However, before that, a new in-game cinematic is being revealed at 9 AM PT.

Based on the image tweeted, it looks to involve protagonist Jak (played by Darren Barnet), General Kirkan (Gina Torres) and Zendara (Lily Cowles). There will also be new story details during the panel, so perhaps we’ll learn more about the world of Aveum, Lucium’s mysteries and The Wound, which runs through the world.

Immortals of Aveum releases on August 22nd for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC after being delayed past its original July release date. The magic-based first-person shooter began development five years ago and runs on Unreal Engine 5.1. Check out the latest gameplay here to see the combat, environments and more in action.
