If Adrian Shepard enters Freeman’s Xen portal, the game will end, accusing the player of trying to rewrite history
I already mentioned that Adrian Shepard was the 3rd awesome character in the Half Life series (The first and second is Gordon and Alyx respectively) and he manages to get himself out of sticky situations similar to what Gordon Freeman went through. However Adrian is probably the only character that almost comes face to face with Gordon freeman during the Black Mesa incident. Now if the player manages to jump into the Portal after Gordon, the screen fades to black, and it accuses the player of rewriting history. Maybe it just wasn’t the right time.
