Half Life Episode One features the Origins of Stalkers
When first encountered in Half Life, you get to see the stalkers from a distance and it makes you wonder just what those creatures are, and where did they come from. Well in Half Life Episode 1, Alyx explains to Gordon that the stalkers are in fact humans that have been drastically altered, both physically and mentally. In the words of Alyx Vance “This is what happens to you if you resist…or if you’re just in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
